History

Maihan Institute of Higher Education is one of the leading private institutes in Afghanistan which is officially registered and recognized by the Islamic republic of Afghanistan as Higher Educational Institution in Ministry of Higher Education in 2011.

Maihan Institute of Higher Education expanded its academic programs introducing (DMD) Stomatology faculty, Pharmacy faculty and Medical Technology Faculty in the same year.

There are more than 1000 students with around 30 percent women participation following their higher education in MIHE.

Maihan Institute of Higher Education celebrated its first ceremony graduation in 2014 and since then more than 8 ceremony graduations have been celebrated and about 1000 Students offered to serve in the country.

Maihan Institute of Higher Education is ranked as one of the top-ten private institutes of higher education as it was evaluated by the ministry of higher education
